Sarah and Marcus

Sarah J Woodrup married Marcus Wray at the Brodrick Suite, Leeds Town Hall, Register Office. We then spent a relaxed couple of hours with a small group of friends taking photographs at Kirkstall Abbey (completed in 1152 and one of the most complete examples of a medieval Cistercian abbey in Britain, along the banks of the River Aire). After a small family gathering at Marcus' parents house the main evening reception was held at the Midnight Bell pub located in Holbeck's atmospheric Urban Village (reputedly the oldest set of industrial buildings in the world).

Instead of the more traditional, large wedding album the bride wanted a more modern vibe. I created a unique 50 page glossy storybook of the day (8" square, containing 120 photos). Light, modern and portable - a storybook can do the rounds with the relatives and be easily replaced if damaged. Copies of the storybook can be posted to friends and family around the world. The gallery above contains the photographs from the wedding storybook , with each image showing two pages of the storybook.

As most of Sarah's family are from Mt. Barker, Adelaide (Australia) and were unable to attend the wedding I created the following Website. It contains photos from the whole wedding day split down into galleries and an interactive version of the storybook.

I was sole photographer for this wedding day, started taking photographs in the bride's hotel at 06:45 and took my last pictures at 23:30 at night at the reception. It was a long day but worth it, I think the results speak for themselves.

Patricia and Alan

Patricia married Alan Foxcroft at St Ricarius Church in Aberford (The only church in the UK named after this saint). The wedding reception was held at Monk Fryston Hall Hotel (a stately manor house dating back to the 12th century is set in 30 acres of delightful gardens).

The photos shown below are from the wedding album I created for them (printed in a glossy 8" square photobook). To see more of Patricia and Alan's special day visit thier website by clicking www.alanandpatricia.co.uk

Amanda and Dave

This is a more traditional (12"x8", 20 page) wedding album. This wedding was photographed by Oliver Goldsmith and myself (with all of the photoshop/album work being done by myself). This was the first wedding either of us had photographed and I've left it in my portfolio as an example of a quality first attempt. The wedding ceremony was at Our Lady & All Saints, Catholic Church, Otley. The bride arrived by horse drawn carriage, photographs were taken in the grounds at the rear of the church after the ceremony and outside the reception venue at Almscliffe Hall, Huby.
